The AIMN has made a submission to the Australian National Audit Office’s (ANAO) follow-up audit of the Implementation and Performance of the Cashless Debit Card. This submission covers ongoing concerns with the CDC regarding effective risk management, contract management and procurement, performance monitoring and evaluation, and extension and expansion of the scheme, as well as its underlying rationale. Many of the issues identified here have persisted despite recommendations made in the 2018 ANAO audit of the CDC.
