The AIMN has developed an expanded policy paper outlining six alternatives to compulsory income management programs in Australia. Building on our policy brief published in March 2022, this paper continues to emphasise the need for a comprehensive transformation of social security policy, including an end to punitive compulsory income management under both the Cashless Debit Card and BasicsCard.
